Choosing a fan? Confused.com??

When choosing a ceiling fan for your home it is important to remember and ask the question what features are right for me! To help you decide we have listed a few things to look out for when selecting a ceiling fan for your home or investment property.

TYPES

Pedestal fans are a great choice to add some extra decorative value to your home whilst giving you the option of moving these fans around making them a popular choice for a quick cooling solution during the winter months. Another plus from using a pedestal fan is that they can be easily packed up and taken with you should you move home and not want to leave you baby behind.

Hang-sure fans are popular among most builders and electricians for the convenience of quick installation and easy access to wiring terminals. This is of course down to preference and doesn't really affect you as a consumer but it's worth baring in mind that the hang-sure version are more common and make life easier for those installing!

J-Hook fans are typically a bit cheaper in the wholesale market and are popular with developers wanting a simple cost effective solution that is price based. Some moderns high grade fans have the J-Hook set up but it's not too popular with the installers.

Three blade fans are often at the lower end of the market and some great quality ones can be found on the Prima Luce Website. Our range of HPM ceiling fans are most popular with large developers wanting a credible fan from a great company at a cost effective price. These fans have the added benefit of adding on a clipper light at a later stage if needed.

Four Blade Ceiling fans are often better for the balancing of the fan and often make less noise compared to the three blase option. Four blade fans looks great and you can really tell that the quality is there, especially with the Hunter Pacific range of fans that we stock fro our online store. Hunter Pacific have been making fans forever and they have a great name in the industry whist offering two year service warranties with there products as standard for piece of mind.

Five Blade Ceiling Fans   look terrific in modern contemporary homes. We have see these installed in kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms in some really modern homes and they look fantastic with an architectural twist on your four blade versions. If you are going high specification then it's hard to overlook with beautiful fans as they are totally unique and top of the line!

The Bali fans really draw your attention and look stunning. They come with a wide range of blase combinations and options to choose from so rest assured there is something for everyone here.
